Growing up in the countryside of central Switzerland sparked a deep connection to nature, which definitely infuses my work. Most of my art contains either found, repurposed, or organic materials. After refining my drawing skills at Neue Kunstschule Zürich art school and obtaining an Advertising Planner degree, I started my professional creative career working for a leading Swiss advertising agency. In 2000, I moved to the U.S. and co-founded an advertising and interactive agency. Doing graphic design professionally, I continued exploring various creative mediums in my art studio, such as charcoal, watercolor, acrylic paint, colored pencils, pastel, and oil paint on wood, canvas, and paper. I then decided to combine everything in mixed media art, blending my love for modern abstract, texture, materials, and different mediums with my desire to draw.

This unique artistic freedom allows for huge creative potential and exciting possibilities, making the creation of every one of my paintings a new adventure I look forward to.
